What Channels Influence Buying Decisions the Most?

In a world abuzz with the idea that social networking channels are becoming a dominant factor in buying decisions, it was interesting to read that email and direct mail are still king.  And by a big margin!  Check out the following results from a survey conducted by ExactTarget.com.  Even the younger age group of 15 to 24 is heavily influenced by these channels.  While we are all in favor of, and participate heavily in, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, don’t ignore the traditional channels for your marketing message.
