Over the last couple of months, we have sent out millions and millions of direct mail packages containing QR codes. A lot of that volume was the result of the USPS allowing a 3% postage discount to mailers who used the codes on a mailpiece. Why? In an effort to drive mail volume by making a connection between offline media (mail) and online.
