{"id":185,"date":"2012-02-07T11:06:22","date_gmt":"2012-02-07T17:06:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gofranklingo.wordpress.com\/?p=185"},"modified":"2018-07-13T02:04:58","modified_gmt":"2018-07-13T08:04:58","slug":"violating-trademark-by-using-qr-code","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.gofranklingo.com\/index.php\/2012\/02\/07\/violating-trademark-by-using-qr-code\/","title":{"rendered":"Violating Trademark by Using QR Code?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There is a current thread in the <em>2D Codes for Global Media<\/em> group on LinkedIn regarding a requirement to show the \u00ae trademark symbol whenever using the term QR Code\u00ae.\u00a0 Following is the text of a warning message sent by Denso Wave, the creator of the code, to a journalist who used it without the mark:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I read with interest your recent article entitled \u201cIt\u2019s All About the (QR) Code\u201d within your newsletter that was dated January 31, 2012.
